Laurie Milan - Laurie Milan is the Purrfect Angelz's "true California
girl"- she was
born
and raised in the sunshine state! She is originally
from the San
Francisco
Bay Area where she began dance lessons at the tender
age of three.
Laurie
grew up travelling and performing with various
competitive dance teams
throughout Northern California. She later moved to
the
City of Angels to attend UCLA.
Laurie graduated
with honors, attaining her BA in World Arts and
Cultures with a
Concentration in Dance and Choreography. Laurie also
served as a
two-year
member and Captain of the nationally recognzied UCLA
Dance Team. Laurie
has
moved on to choreograph and perform for the NFL Pro
Bowl halftime show
in
Hawaii four consecutive years and she has also coached
and
choreographed for
the UC Berkeley Cal Dance Team and the United Spirit
Association. As a
member of The Purrfect Angelz Laurie has had
the performance
opportunities many only dream of... She danced for
Trace Adkin's hit
song of
2005, "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" as a featured dancer in
his music video
and
his live performaces at the ACMA's and the CMT's.
Along with her fellow
Angelz, Laurie was a cheerleader for the ESPN Summer X
Games in 2005
and has
danced at numerous biker events throughout the
country. You may have
seen
Laurie dancing and singing with David Hasselhoff as
his lead "Hoffette"
on
NBC's hit show America's Got Talent. One of her most
life changing
experiences occured recently when she travelled
overseas to Iraq to
visit
our U.S. Armed Forces. Laurie was accompanied by four
other Angelz and
together they risked their safety by completeing a
two-week tour
dancing,
visiting and honoring the troops throughout Iraq.
Laurie currently
resides
in Hollywood pursuing her career as a dancer, model
and makeup artist.
